Backblast 2/15/21 Skate Rats. 30 for 30 and a good Humping of the Congress.

There is an ugly rumor out there that a group of monkeys is called a congress.  It isn’t true, but it fits my purpose here, so we’ll go with it….and it certainly would be ironic if it were true, wouldn’t it?

Pax gathered in a cold, windy, mist.  Sprinkler, Blue Hen (on loan from FOS – guess he forgot where to park), Whamo, Duvet, Water Wings, Sludge, Shear Conn.  and 3 AWOLs.

WOR: SSHs, Dean Vigodas, Runners Stretching, Helicopters, Mountain Climbers.  Mosey to shelter 3 for a purposely witnessed humping of the congress…it’ll make more sense in a second.

The Thang:  Classic 30 for 30 style.  Mosey to a spot, complete 30 reps of exercise #1, 30 reps of exercise #2, and repeat 30 reps of exercise #1.  Tends to put a hurt’in on the repeated muscle group. Mosey to the next spot for the next round.  Our “spots” were back and forth from shelter 1 to shelter 2.  FOS had squatters rights on shelter 3.  Total mileage..1.25 miles.  Which was 1.20 more than FOS.
