Backblast Red, White & Boom – 1.6.2020

Several PAX convened for a solid beat down this morning by QIC (Duvet) *see Tarde’s backblast for Name O Rama*. After a proper disclaimer by QIC, a first, we all moseyed over to the warm up circle:

  • SSH X 15 IC
  • Hillbillies (in honor of Fortran, but QIC cannot count these well – ask anyone in attendance)
  • Abe Vigoda’s (just to keep the counting wrong, these were kind of done like Don Quixote’s)
  • Frankensteins
  • Seam Rippers

The men of metal and strength split off while the remaining PAX joined QIC for a boot camp style beat down. Mumble chatter dissipated quickly at the first set of exercises at the amphitheater … 11’s consisting of Abyss Merkins and WWI’s. A train horn blasted so we were able to add 5 burpees to the mix for free. T-claps for Dean for sticking out the entire Q after hitting the deck from a pothole in the grass – city workers haven’t made it around to assess the uneven terrain yet. Maybe in our lifetime.

Mosey up to the entrance of the school for a countdown of sorts. Do one exercise and run a lap around the entrance circle:

  • 20 single count Shoulder Taps
  • 15 Lt Dan’s
  • 10 Diamond Merkins
  • 5 Burpees
  • Rocky Balboa’s for 6

Mosey up to the benches for another countdown of exercises. Do one exercise and run down the hill forward and up the hill backwards:

  • 20 single count Dips
  • 15 Irkins
  • 10 Step ups each leg
  • 5 Derkins
  • Al Gore for the 6

Mosey to the rail near the dumpster for a quick addition of:

  • 20 Monkey Humpers IC
  • 15 Dips
  • Jailbreak to basketball court
