BACKBLAST -Northern Aggression – 1/30/2019

19 PAX Assembled at Harmon Park for a mid-week session.
The PAX included  Kay, Dr. Evil, Sludge, Lucky Charms, WHAM-O!, Man Hands, Sprinkler, Deliverance, Spicoli, Checkbook, Radar, Fortran, Elaine, Boones Farm, Epstein, Slice N Dice, Flounder, High Heels, Special Ed (Q)

The PAX successfully saved Kay from drowning as he fell into an ice puddle

Lighting was good this morning to capture Kay’s decent into the depths

After Sludge offered up Radar’s shoes for Kay, and with all PAX safe and accounted for, we moseyed from the park to MSUMC parking lot. Mumblechatter was heard grumbling over the thought of another Four Corners beat down… YHC is a State Grad, Four Corners enlists loathing for UNC so no Four Corners will be used today. Mosey to YHC’s car to retrieve the music box:

Warm-A-Rama:

With safety at YHC’s highest priority, Warm-A-Rama was expanded to include Sprints/Movement to get the heart rate up in this bitter cold. (YHC is always here for you fellow PAX, including Fortran)

Partner A would do the first called exercise while Partner B traveled up the parking lot and back in the manner called then flap jack. Once both partners complete the exercise, Q then called next combo and we moved down the list:
Side Straddle Hops / Suicide (run to half, back then to end and back)
Imperial Walkers / Karaoke (to half way and back)
Abe Vigodas / Chinooks (speed walk – chinooks one direction half way and the other direction back)

THE THANG:  

Partner A performs exercise while Partner B holds listed pose and then Flapjack to get to 80 Single Count or 40 IC cumulative reps per exercise. After each set, the team would run a lap around the parking lot and continue in this fashion until time is called.
