22 Brave Pax (Crawdaddy will send me and I can post) dared come out in the gloom on Valentine’s day to await what the overly giddy Q had in store. It began early with the Q being followed by a shady vehicle as YHC tested out the curling cylinders on the course…turns out it was just TrampStamp and Hardy…
So, at 5:29, the PAX were instructed by the Q to Grab a concrete cylinder (I mean curling stone)…numerous PAX pointed out that they aren’t all the same weight…YHC would like to note that they were free, and thus specifications went out the window…
In addition, numerous complaints began about it not being 5:29…however, YHC did not want to waste a single minute of the morning on logistics like passing out concrete…
(Aside – for those that don’t know about the above guy…youtube “rent is too damn high” in youtube…best gubernatorial candidate ever and made a debate).
Thus, promptly at 5:30, the PAX moseyed to the upper lot for a warm-a-rama (Opening ceremony of the games)…The Olympic theme song played on the dewalt radio as we did:
15x Monkey Humper in honor of Valentine’s Day
20x Side Straddle Hop
14x Abes
12x Frankenstein Rockette Style
15x Nancy Kerrigans Each Way
It went as well as the above…
We then moseyed to the base of the lot for Curling…this consisted of rolling a concrete test cylinder in between parking tire stops. After rolling your stone, you lunged to go get it, 5 burpee penalty if you missed your target. Then bear crawl back to the starting line, rinse and repeat until time is called…A PAX informed YHC that Deliverance beat out Kay in an epic battle….here is the video coverage of Deliverance’s response to knowing he won Gold:
Meanwhile other PAX including the Q were more like:
After that began Skeleton…Partner up, wheel barrow down, switch, wheel barrow back up…the Q stated this should be done (2) times…numerous PAX required clarification on what doing this (2) times meant…
Math is hard…
We then moseyed to the Radio where the Iheartradio “Love” station was on…worst station ever…anyway, we began the greatest Olympic sport ever, SHORT track speed skating…this consisted of (3) laps around the islands at slow speed, then (1) lap at 75% and the final lap at 100%…we did this twice, and the second time….it was quite tough…
First time through felt like this…
Meanwhile, the second time through felt like…
Then…the Olympic games were over…time to train for next time…so we took our cylinders and ran lines with increasing squat counts at 5, 10, 15, and so on…
At one point, one of the PAX stated “WHAT ARE WE LISTENING TO?” And honestly, I don’t know…I was disappointed at the music…much like this guy…
We then moseyed back to the lower lot for Marys which consisted of:
20x LBC
15x Low Slow flutter
Homer/Marge
Plank count off…this was an ultimate fail as even the second time through Kay was confused as to what exactly we were doing…however, that did add a few seconds to the plank, so that’s good…Ultimately, YHC takes credit for the failure to adequately communicate…My fail…
Then maybe we did Hammers…I don’t remember…I went off script here…
Announcements/Name-arama was delayed because Q’s phone died playing terrible music…Crawdaddy came to the rescue but allowed for 5 burpees…
Prayers for Crankbait’s friend and One other…my apologies for forgetting…The Q also, inspired by FloRida’s juice boxes, gave each of the PAX a valentine’s day gummy pack…my apologies to High Heels and Mall cop for not having your names written down…another fail like Captain America guy…
Happy Valentine’s Olympics Day!
An Honor to lead,
Dean
