The Thang
After pairing up and scattering to 1 of 5 stations the circuit began and ran until Q’s group completed (sorry Evil and Epstein if your backs hurt tomorrow from carrying me – nice job fellas). Circuit as follows:

BOMBS – with one partner exercising and other partner running across parking lot and back, switch out until total sum reached by the pair

  • Burpees x 50
  • Overhead Claps x 100
  • Merkins x 150
  • Big Boy Situps (with bar assisit) x 200 – these really helped to control mumble chatter
  • Squats x 250

Expected weeping and gnashing of teeth ensued… topped with Dan-O wondering out loud “if anyone had ever crapped themselves doing F3”?.  As Gilmore was not there to answer, I have submitted a formal inquiry to national.. The entire Pax and especially our FNG’s hung in there and did a great job.

Post BOMBS – mosey to BB court for Mary

  • Dying CR’s x who knows??
  • Marge and Homer x 15
  • American Hammers x 11

Personal Note of reflection on my 1st Q:   Brothers from different Mothers; like all things in life – you get out what you put in.  I think the last few weeks for me on the F3 front have been pretty inspiring.  We have seen new guys like Dan-O, Tenderfoot and Fanny Pack, not only join the Pax, but embrace it. Hitting every workout and getting stronger by the day. By the same token, I really appreciate the folks who are the foundation of our group. I found myself running hills last week next to Lucky Charm and just thinking – man! Guys is in his mid 50’s out here crushing it, while the rest of town is still asleep. Knee brace and all – nothing but positive the whole time.  Remember to see the talent, inspiration and peer strength in our group.  Continue to greet every FNG personally, and cheer on the Pax during workouts.  There is a great strength in this group in many ways just asking to be harnessed.  It was a real pleasure to lead this morning.  See you in the gloom.
